Dominican chicken
 

This recipe is a rough draft for cooking chicken in the Dominican style (which is very tasty).
Serve with white rice, or tostones.

Ingredients

whole chicken
onion (one)
green peper (cuban-long)
garlic
oil (canola, mazola)
salt
culantro
tomato sauce *half a small can
sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken in parts
  2. pour oil in pan in hi
  3. when oil is very hot, add a handful (or two of sugar)
  4. stir till brown, dont let it burn
  5. chicken in pan, move it around so it gets brown
  6. if need pour a little bit of water
  7. cover and bring the heat down
  8. add all the above ingredients cut in pieces
  9. cover let it cook in low until chicken is done
