Der Dutchman Chicken
 


Ingredients

6 Chicken Breasts
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 1/2 Cups of Peppridge Farm Dressing (fine)
6 Slices of Swiss Cheese
6 Slices of Boiled or Baked Ham
1/2 Cup of White Wine
1/2 Cup of Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in baking dish.
  2. Put a slice of swiss then ham on top of chicken.
  3. Dilute soup with wine and pour over chicken.
  4. Mix stuffing with butter and spread over chicken.
  5. Bake for 1 Hour at 350.

A tasty treat from the Midwest. Whenever Dana is complaining about the city and wants to move back to Ohio, I have to let her cook one of these "comfort foods" to calm her down. Although this is a bit rich for my taste, I think its better than moving to Colombus. (but how long will the effect last?)
